Stopped off on a cycling trip the other Sunday. What a lovely discovery, a real country pub that still maintains all the charms and delights of an unspoilt country pub.
Beer served straight from the barrel behind the bar with a well established fire burning in the grate. Sat outside and gazed and the seemingly never ending sweep of fields, watching the young lambs skipping about in the evening gloaming.
Didn't eat but the blackboard looked really inviting. I passed a rare breeds farm shop not a mile away so I am hoping they are a customer too when I return to try the restaurant.
