I stayed for one night before a meeting in Manchester and was extremely surprised at how good the hotel was. As this is a hotel attached to a family theme park, my expectations were fairly low, but I was wrong, the room was luxurious and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful and I will definitely be staying here again,

Stayed at the hotel this week for one night, with our two children, 3 & 7. The hotel itself looks great and feels exclusive at the end of a driveway, next to a theme park (not open) and a water splash centre. Inside it didn't disappoint either, with a welcoming reception, bar and restaurant.

Having been checked in by helpful staff, we got to our room which was better than the photos, often rare. The kids loved their little tree house room with bunk beds, TV/DVD for each child and a little den underneath. Three was a little jelly bean machine in the main room, along with juice, both free, plus the usual tea/coffee facilities. A good size TV and DVD player, plus a selection of films to borrow from the little shop near reception.

We ate dinner in the hotel, which was good value and served by very attentive staff. There is a playroom next to the bar, so everyone is happy. Breakfast was also good, can't complain.

In all, a great hotel for families, good value and helpful staff. Would, and will, definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: The super family suite was the same price as a normal family suite, which was slightly larger with a sofa bed.

Stayed for two nights family of 4, impressed lovely hotel, very clean and modern, staff helpful. We all loved the room, we had a family suite, nice treetop bunkbeds in a separate sleeping area with tv at end of each bed, kids loves the room, juice and sweets were provided, tea and coffee, shower gel, hand wash in the bathroom. The hotel is right next to gullivers park and splash zone, both are brilliant for younger kids, i thought it was good value.

Breakfast food was good although restaurant was busy its not a very big area, i cant comment on evening meal as we ate out, they have a bar area, overall i would recommend the hotel and park, my children had a great time.

    Room:
*Excellent! the bunk bed is a good touch specially when staying with kids.
*Updated furnishing and good bed which is important after a whole day of activities at the theme park.

    Stay:
*It could have been better if the restaurant is more organized, half of the time the staff doesn't have a clue and food was cold when it eventually served.
*Staff was very helpful and welcomed us nicely.

I would have given 5 star to it if it wasn't for the food and its price

Room Tip: Family theme room are woth it :)
