“Brilliant hotel”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

We have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. We had booked two rooms with an interconnecting door. The rooms were fantastic, last year we stayed at Splash Landings at Alton towers which is not a patch on Gullivers hotel and much cheaper as well. The indoor play area is situated next to resturant-brilliant, as once the kids have eaten, adults can chill out for a while. Althought the menu is not extensive, even I (very fussy eater ) could find something.
There is a little room next to play room with baby changing, iron/board, microwave, washing machine/dryer and a small toilet-brilliant.
When we asked staff if they sold milk for our kids we were told to help ourselves from the fridge in resturant.
Brilliant hotel, facilities and staff , will defo stay again.

This hotel is amazing, from the moment we arrived about 8 ish at night, they were nearly finished serving food, but allowed us to order some food, it was lovely burgars were delicious, we had the food in our rooms, and said to them could they ring us when food was ready we would come down and get it, they brought it up to us, they asked me if I wanted them to do me any warm milk for my daughter to go to sleep with, we had squash and sweets in our room, I took the empty bottle of squash down to take the bottle back and asked me if I wanted it refilling, breakfast were nice aswell, the rooms are lovely,

Had fantastic two nights stay here. The children were happy enough staying in the bedroom - booked family suite which had a den, their own dvd tv, blackboard, squash and sweets and even advent calendars in he room. Very friendly and helpful staff, had asked about extras when booking as it was a surprise weekend away for my husbands 40th, they went out of their way with decorations, cake etc. which made it extra special. Very family orientated, whole family made to feel welcome, with a play room next to the dining area. Located few steps from the gullivers theme park, absolutely ideal with young children, didn't have to move the car. Room was very clean and spacious, had a great weekend here and will certainly return again soon!

Room Tip: Did not see the standard rooms, but would highly recommend the family suite if staying with children...

Can not fault hotel 1 bit , if your thinking about fetching kids under the age of 10 do not hesitate you might have a job of getting them back home , it's really good , little extras like juice and jellybean machine in room add value to your stay , our kids even received advent calendars how thoughtful , very well managed and polite staff, the kids gully den rooms are great ,well done the gullivers a unique experience worth every penny

Room was fantastic to say it was the basic room, very clean, jelly bean machine for the kids and bottle of juice. DVD's available from reception and the room was VERY clean. Bar downstairs ans play room for kids, breakfast was fab and staff again were very pleasant and could not do more for us. Loved our stay and wish we were still there, Keep up the good work :) xx
