Lovely grounds full of beautiful flower gardens. The children's zoo is especially nice. Great place for a stroll and a picnic. I also believe they have a cafe. Didn't enjoy the ice cream from the ice cream truck near the children's playground. The young lady was handling money and food without wearing gloves.
Ni hao 🇨🇳🇬🇧 Walton Hall, Gardens, Pets Corner, Bridgewater Canal and Golf ⛳️ course situated less than five from our 🇬🇧 home is the ideal place to get in touch with nature, just unwind. As you can imagine other folk have the same ideas especially during the summer months, weekend or during the school holidays. So! Pick your time to walk around the vast expanse of trees, gardens and scrubland. There is car parking for that you need to pay! Or.. If like yours truly with golf buddies head off for eighteen holes on the picturesque enjoyable course, especially lovely late evening. Recommended that’s a yeah. Xiexie Gordon 🇬🇧 Sissi 🇨🇳
Lovely grounds. Lots to do. Full day of beautiful scenery. Woodland trail could do with improving. Great day had by all. Would go back again and definitely worth the 40 min travel time from Manchester.
What better place to visit on a lovely spring day, and that's just what we did with the dog in tow.
We did just stroll around the gardens and stretched our legs while enjoying the delightful sunshine finished with a coffee.
Plenty to do here from the petting zoo, park, crazy golf and the cafe/coffee shop. Parking a little expensive but when you take in to account the place and up keep it makes sense.
The canal runs alongside it too so if little more adventure then worth a stroll, all the lovely boats cruise on by.
Plenty for children, grown ups and grandparents.
A lovely day out in the sun. There is parking right outside (payed) and plenty to do. First off the park itself can be busy but it is a decent size with a good mix of amenities. The toilet block is clean and modern right next to the childrens play area. My favourite part is the mini zoo that houses goats and pigs with all things fury between. A pitch and putt, crazy golf and crown green bowling are all upcharges but are well looked after and pleasent to play. The actual gardens are hidden at the back right of the park but offer an hour or so of strolling and enjoying the fauna. Lastly a cutr coffee shop/cafe is situated at the bottom of the site and sells trendy coffees and snacks. A good day out can be had by all ages with ample areas for familys to relax.
£4 for parking is outrageous and while it's a place for kids to burn off energy it isn't a place to over excite anyone. Expensive ice cream and cafe facilities. Children zoo is pitiful. Other places in Warrington offer more with free parking.
