My partner and I decided to visit Walton gardens for a little walk out with our 3 month old baby. Although he wasn't able to play on the park, eat ice-cream or watch the animals it was still a nice place to just walk round the gardens even in the chilly March winds.
Great family day out!
What a nice surprise it is these days to find a well run place that is so clean and tidy 10/10 to Warrington council, well done!
Great kids park, fantastic mini farm zoo (that’s free) madness ,plenty of space to relax with a picnic, train ride round the grounds only £2!
Bike museum and coffee shop.
Worth a trip for an afternoons entertainment
Walton hall which is within the estate is a lovely place to visit, there are plenty of activities.
Lovely gardens, children’s playground, pleasant walks, bowls, crazy golf, and a chip and putt course.Plenty of lovely locations to have a picnic providing the weather is good, ideal for a family day out it has a lovely pets corner for the children. The grounds are dog friendly . There is ample parking but quite expensive, but the grounds and the house is free.
Excellent place to take young children, nice little zoo, nice park and woodland to walk. The train is a bit of a rip off.
We visited on Sunday the 28th of April. It has everything from animals, parks, train rides, formal gardens, beautiful surroundings and lovely walks. Recommended for all ages. I’ll definitely be visiting again.
