I have been visiting here since I was a child.
It suits everyone, the parking is easy and cheap. There’s a short walk from the car park to the entrance of the gardens, the improved children’s play area is fabulous. Next to that is a quaint little zoo, which houses donkeys, red squirrels, peacocks, pigs and many, many more species of animals.
There’s a pitch and putt, a crazy golf, loos, cafes, gorgeous gardens with a plethora of flowers and trees.
There is an easy access agarden and the whole of the area is suitable for the less mobile.
It’s clean, spacious and plenty of space for a picnic and a game of footy, rounders or just a sunbath.
First thing in the morning is a lovely time to bring the dogs out. They love it here. Just keep them away from the zoo.

This is a lovely place to take the children as there is a large play area and pets corner. We actually got married here at the Hall 6 years ago. The weather was so nice we got married in the band stand. There is a large car park , a cafe and ice cream van.

Lovely day here picnicking, animal zoo, beautiful gardens, crazy golf(additional cost) and a fab children’s playground. You do pay to park, but is well worth a visit. Definitely will be returning.

Walton Hall and gardens comprises, amongst others, a mini zoo, childrens play area, open fields and play areas and a small lake area with pleasant easy walks around the complex. All free. There is ample parking and pitch and putt at a charge. The bridgewater canal runs along the side further enhancing opportunities for walking and feeding the ducks.
