This place has always been a favorite with the whole family and when the children were small we enjoyed the playground, a picnic and a stroll around the petting zoo. Now they are grown up we still enjoy our trips out to Walton Hall gardens although now we leave the playground to the younger visitors. It is well worth a visit especially as the Hall is such a large part of Warrington history, being the ancestral home of the Daresbury family, and so very well looked after especially the lovely gardens. There is a pitch and put, putting green and crazy golf for the budding golfers also a cafeteria for refreshment for those of us who are not. Well worth a trip steeped in history.
