Dated and in need of a lick of paint at the very least - there are however some new rides and a new hotel being built so hopefully the whole site will be updated. Adequate day out for smaller children but doubt any child over 8 years would have much good to say about it

We live local, what a state it is. That rotten plank of wood which they call a rollercoaster, really? For kids about 3 to 5 yrs , but after that, it's off to alton towers!

Gulliver's World Warrington advertises itself as being a great value day out. If they mean that they are cheaper than other theme parks such as Alton Towers, this is true but they are not at all comparable.

The theme park is aimed towards toddlers and primary school children. There are no rides suited to older children or adults but despite this evey adult accompanying a child has to pay full price just to supervise.

The park is very dated and in need of having a lot of money spent on it as well as just having more attention paid to the small details. For example when we arrived we were told to park on a grassed area as it must have been a busy day for them and the car park was full. The grass had not been cut this season and it was a bit like an off road experience parking up and then making your way to the path with long grass up to your knees.

Some of the slides in the park had huge puddles at the bottom where the children's bottoms would end up and it had not rained on the day we visited so clearly no-one had gone around on the morning before they opened making sure everything was clean and safe, ready to use.

Other slides such as the one in the big wooden castle were so worn in one place that the kids flew down the shiny part and came to an abrupt stop at the bottom in the worn part. Their bottoms would abruply stop and their heads would carry on flying forwards whiplash-style. I'd be very suprised if some front teeth hadn't been knocked out on that ride.

The toilets we used while we were there had no hand-drying facilities so you have to come out with soaking wet hands and the queues for food were very very long. We ended up settling for a hot dog stand where the woman opearting it opened new bottles of ketchup by removing the seal with her teeth!

Many of the rides are partially broken for example the spinning barrels ride has 8 barrels on it but on the day we went, only 2 families could ride at a time as the other 6 barrels did not have working seatbelts - again huge queues and lots of crying kids.

I could go on but I'm sure you get the idea. Not a great day and we won't be going back.

A steep entrance fee so worth getting a deal or voucher if you can but worth it once your inside (Similar price to other theme parks though so not overpriced) My favourite thing about Gullivers is that you can take your own picnic in and there are plenty of eating areas. You are not obliged to buy any of the food, drink or ice cream - yes the prices are expensive but that's what you expect.

Some updating could need doing on rides and certain areas but having been around the park several times in the last few years there is something for all ages to do. There is enough to fill a full day and keep the children happy. Lots of different rides and things going on all day although some new attractions such as water rides, a lick of paint etc would go along way.

Agree with some of the staff although having met some of the management team - they are dedicated to the park and do aim to give good service all round. Gift shops are not shoved in your face and there are some affordable pockey money gifts too.

Overall, a good day for families with 3 - 10 year olds.
