We were presented with rude staff, attitude problems and staff wearing jeans and trainers!!! Not what I was expecting after staying here many times before, don't expect a reply from the manager either. The room was average and very small, the pool and spa facilities were average.

Having read some of the previous reviews, I felt uninspired by our night away. But what a surprise. Yes probably all the rooms are similar but when you are talking spacious warm, clean and extremely comfortable then what more do you need. We ate at the restaurant and again having read previous reviews we were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and very good food. The hotel offered a book of deals with our overnight stay one of which gave us a third of our meal! go and hopefully be pleasantly surprised!

Room Tip: pay that bit extra and go for deluxe room, away from reception.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities. The pool, sauna, steam room were clean. The jacuzzi lacked bubbles, and the pool felt like it might have had a little too much chlorine but no real complaints.
The bar had a nice atmosphere and I highly recommend the onion rings. Maybe the best I've ever had.
The down point to breakfast is they didn't have hash browns or any sort of potatoes. I found that odd.
All in all no real complaints and I would happily stay there again

I work in offices situated on centre park and took clients for lunch to this hotel. It took over 10 minutes before the order was taken and then a ridiculous length of time for the food to arrive. The food was below average. Avoid.

I wanted this to be really good - it had the right combination, restaurant, gym, boutique hotel, Starbucks in one complex and to be fair it nearly is. Couple of small things, the TV had no remote so had to get one found and bought to the room, room service was engaged so had to leave a message and food OK (bland pizza for circa £10).Overall not bad at all and as I say nearly very good just feels like it needs a few tweaks which are easily done and it would be a good experience staying here.

Room Tip: I stayed in a 'premium type' room on the 3rd floor which was great

Arrived for a long weekend break with friends. Parking was fine plenty of it. Receptionist very friendly young girl very good at her job. Room clean and ok bit disappointed no biscuits in the room the price they charge per night there should be! We were given a voucher booklet and told we could use the vouchers for money off in the bar restaurant etc. So on the Saturday night we decided to eat in the restaurant and use our money off voucher, which reception had told us we could. However when we went in the restaurant they told us it was not valid on a Saturday? It does not state this in the booklet or online? However after a long discussion they agreed we could but then she said we have a specia menu where you can pick two courses for x amount and that will probably work out cheaper than the voucher! So we looked at the menu and there was only one vegetarian option on it so i asked if i could swap the vegetarian off the main menu for the one on the specials menu only to be told this was not an option! I asked why as the one i wanted was cheaper than the one on offer! We had a lengthy discussion with the waitress and then the manager and eventuallywe found out that the reason was because they could not "put it through the till"!!!!! Eventually they said they would but to be honest our evening had already been spoilt by this point! Food when it came was ok again nothing fantastic. Breakfast was no good for vegetarain not enough hot chose so i had to settle for toast each morning and when you are paying £95 this is not very good. Only orange or cranberry juice on offer. Very limited chose of pastries so not impressed with breakfast.
Swimming pool very nice and large but was we were there over the weekend a waste of time because it was either full of kids or ladies doing fitness classes? So again paid for soemthing we couldnt use. Would i stay there again not for the price we paid

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on a Christmas shopping weekend to the Trafford Centre and Cheshire Oaks (which the hotel is ideally placed for). Lovely welcome on check in, very efficient. The lift was broken however, so we had to take the stairs which wasn't great with the shopping bags and suitcase!

The room was very modern and spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed and a great shower. It was looking a little tired in places however and the room hadn't been brilliantly cleaned.

We dined in the pub, which was fine, food was great. We had been given vouchers at check in to obtain a discount for our evening meal - however the bar staff made a lot of fuss around how to process this through the till, it felt very uncomfortable at one stage! Don't give me vouchers then if your staff don't know what to do with them!

This is a very lively hotel, there was a wedding taking place on the night that we stayed and the Samoa rugby team were also present. This resulted in an awful nights sleep - the noise from the corridor really travels, I had to listen to banging, shouting, door knocking, running for most of the night.

The breakfast the following morning was fantastic and again check out was easy, the front desk staff are very good.

This is a great hotel if you're at a function or something, but if you are staying with children or coming for a restful break, you may want to consider somewhere else.
