Great family atmosphere, attentive staff but best of all fantastic food. The owner is a great character full of fun and entertaining without being too intrusive. We will definate make more use of this wonderful little restaurant on our doorstep.

We went back for our second visit this evening since moving to Weybridge, and sadly we are done with El Meson. On our first visit, the food was fine but for some reason they insisted on bringing all of the tapas at once. Despite requesting that a couple be brought at a time. Call us odd, but having a bit of white wine while ordering and a nice bottle of red, with tapas brought in stages so they don't get cold and so we can enjoy the time is our preference. This time (arriving at about 8:30 pm or so, so no demands for tables after) we ordered some queso and jamon to start, with a bottle of Muga Reserva - the owner said "is that it, really?" and then muttered "whatever" as he walked away despite us letting him know we were undecided on what we wanted next (when we really just didn't want a pile of food on the tiny table getting cold and just wanting to relax and enjoy our time there). We were a bit stunned as he had been so friendly during the first visit. Then, a bit later when he stopped by, we asked for some fish tapas with salad, to then be followed after we were done with that by some pork. He took the order and told us that it is best we order a starter and then 3 tapas at the same time as he is working to create a more elegant experience at his restaurant than the bars in Spain. We said our preference was to take our time, enjoy our wine and not have everything at once. Again, bizarre preferences I know. Needless to say, it came at once. No opportunity to dip bread in the garlicy oil from the gambas as that was removed to make more immediate space on the small table. Am sure things would have tasted better warm as well. He must know his crowd and it was busy and plenty of people from this site obviously enjoy the restaurant, but not us. We won't be back.

Lovely ambience with personal service, tapas were delicious as was the fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic. Must book as it gets very well - recommended.

This is one of the best tapas Bars that I have been in outside of Spain. The food is always excellent, the service just as good. I've eaten here many times over the years. The atmosphere and quality have never faltered. "Los Hermanos" really has stood the test of time and continues to deliver.

I have been twice to this little Spanish Tapas bar in Weybridge on a recommendation from a friend who told me he takes "all his dates there". On entering the restaurant, the waiters and management are friendly and enthusiastic. The restaurant looks far bigger from the outside, so I would recommend booking in advance if there are more than 4 of you because it does get busy.

The menu is pretty good, what you would probably expect from a tapas bar. A few other additions wouldn't go amiss and for the portion size you get it's pushing the pricey end of the scale, but it is Weybridge and for that it's fairly average in price.

The atmosphere is what makes it a much more memorable evening. The waiters set the tone for there to be a buzz about the place and everyone seems to relax and join in having a good time.

Go for a date or a late week group of lively friends for a good evening.
