We stayed here for a business trip, the check in was when the bar staff had time, and then they struggled to find 1 of our bookings, it appears the reference no we received by email is of no use to their computer! Word of advice if you do stay here, print your booking form!
Food, below average, waiter got our order messed up one colleague had a beef burger instead of Beef bourguignon! Detail must have been lost in translation ! Mains had no veg, waiter didn't offer the side order, service was generally poor and my lamb shank was best described as bland.
Rooms were clean and tidy, good efficient shower, comfy bed, and clean linen.
Breakfast was very high on carbon footprint, mushrooms like a frazzled round of rubber- in edible, sausage burnt , bacon burnt, toast so black it needed scraping, black pudding dry, asked for brown sauce the HP bottle was empty and they didn't have another. This was a £6.95 add on and I wish we had gone some where else.
When we complained regarding service especially breakfast the waitress said sorry I will pass your complaint on.

considering the area i wasnt really expecting much from a hotel that was only £72 a night, therefore i wasnt dissappointed!..lets start with the check in..they couldnt find our booking!!!! after around a 20 minute wait,it was found, however,we had booked a twin and a family, the family was meant to be a double and 2 singles,we were given a double and a sofa bed...now to the rooms themselves..we had to ask for the teas/coffee etc to be filled as there was none..and the room was rather dusty, but having spoken to the cleaner i ended up feeling sorry for her as she was working alone, covering the whole hotel!!my sister had a fantastic nights sleep in room 217,we werent so lucky, room 112 has to be the noisiest room i have ever stayed in,next to the drive to carpark, above the night exit...from 11pm-2.30am the night exit door was going constantly, every time someone came in it slammed shut, causing our room to shake!!!then at 6am,the fans kicked in for the kitchens..resulting in around 3 hrs sleep all night for me and my daughter, though my son and grandaughter managed a little more...now to the breakfast(continental inc in price)...we were down for breakfast around 9am,and found only 2 other tables occupied,so it wasnt busy...we had to ask for the juice to be filled up...had to ask for the white bread to be replenished, same with the butter...then shock, horror,no tea-bags!!at this point i was ready to find the nearest mcds!!!every time we asked for anything,we were greeted with a rather surly look as if we were asking for the world, when in fact all we wanted was what we paid for...the final straw was when i went to make a brew(after some tea-bags had been thrown on the table) and the hot water machine was empty..at this point i gave up and returned to my room for a brew....when we checked out,i pointed out the noise level of the room,to be told my comments would be passed on,the person checking us out was only a barman!
its true, you get what you pay for, this hotel could be amazing...but sadly its far from it!!

Room Tip: ask for a room as high up as poss and at the front!

We stayed here for three nights as they were running a three nights for the price of two deal when we booked. We can't really fault the hotel - it was clean, well located for what we needed and good value. We didn't eat there as the reviews for food didn't look great. The big down side to this place was the staff - we found them quite rude, generally unhelpful and not very professional. If they weren't being sarcastic they were eating or having a glass of wine out the front!! Innkeepers Lodge - please get some staff training in place!!

We spent two nights at the Chaser over a weekend and had gone there with our expectations well managed after reading Trip Advisor. Unfortunately the previous largely negative reviews were accurate.

When we arrived the member of staff seemed less than enthusiastic and this set the tone for the whole weekend. Staff were at best disinterested, and at worst sarcastic.

Our room was very cold, despite leaving the heater on, and it was also the dirtiest that I can remember staying in. Lots of dust, cobwebs and worse, and the en-suite didn't seem clean, however none of this would have taken long to put right with a bit of tlc. Overall it gave a sense of being an unloved place.

We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was okay, but again the place was unclean and from how full it was the bin for breakfast bits like tea bags, etc hadn't been emptied for a good while. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg saw the resulting egg dry and rubbery. We had some drinks in the bar and were amazed that an oily tasting glass of sauvignon blanc was £7! I know this is a very well to do area, but that was well overpriced fro poor wine. Real ale was rather more fairly priced at £3.80 a pint, but still not exactly easy on the wallet.

Overall it was a very disappointing experience but the stand out was the lack of interest from the staff. Given previous reviews it looks like the tone is set from the top by the manager.

With some staff training, a deep clean and more realistic pricing this could be a decent option, but at just shy of £150 for two night's b&b we wouldn't return.

This pub is gorgeous in a great location & has the ability to be great.

But......
....the food is bordering on unedible
.... The service is good, apart from a tall bespectacled manager who has no communication skills at all. I actually saw him argue with an Oap that he had not been waiting an hour 20mins for his food, it was only an hour 10mins.
The same manager then poured a glass of red wine over my pregnant friend & refused to apologise when it was pointed out to him what he had done.
When I questioned why my baked goats cheese starter was watery & had no flavour due to it clearly being microwaved (it arrived in under 3mins) I was told that's what it should be like. As I was with my parents I felt I couldn't argue with this.

If you are going for a drink I'd definitely recommend it, but don't waste your money eating there.

Go to the Alex in nearby Oatlands village instead.

Stayed here after booking out of a near by hotel due to a bad experience.

Nice large room with a big comfortable bed and big LCD tv, what more do you want...

Great atmosphere in the pub / restaurant area with a open log fire and although I didn't eat dinner, had a nice breakfast.

All the staff were very friendly so would definitely recommend this hotel for the Weybridge area.

Service was crap, the starter was ok, our mains were crap the marinated chicken was the cheapest bit of chicken ive ever had and was like they just poured a bottle of sweet and sour sauce over it, 3 steaks were ordered and were the toughest bit of meat known to man, and two burgers were ordered. Which one was the lamb burger was okay but nothing to rave about, but the beef burger well it came out like a ice hockey puck, was horrendous just poorly cooked. For all this and a few drinks the bill came to 160 quid. When we spoke to management about the pebble like burger the pratt thought it was a laughing matter, ruined our sunday. I would never return to this place even if my meal was going to be paid for.
