“Great Food”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

Great food, and good service. Only went there one night whilst working and staying in Wolverhampton. A good range of food available, and well prepared. My only comment would be the price, it seemed very expensive, over £65.00 for two of us, which included only one starter, two mains, one rice, and two naan breads. Two cokes, and two small beers.
At home this would be no more than £45.00 at most.
There must be comparable restaurants in the same town which are much cheaper, and for a midweek meal probably just as enjoyable.

“Reputation better than the lunch experience!”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

Had a lunch here and it was pretty average. Service was good but it was all a bit pricey given we started on 9.95 for 2 courses, it worked out at 25 pounds per person! Left still feeling ready for lunch!

“Service again lets down”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

Ok, so this is our fourth visit, perhaps fifth. The last time we felt let down by very indifferent service and have to say this time it really hadn't improved. We ordered the Pre-theatre menu which was fine and the pickles with the poppodums are always good (especially the lime pickle which I think is made in the restaurant). But.......not sure whether our waiter couldn't speak English or just mumbled??
* told to move seats meaning our guests who'd already arrived also had to reseat. Why set a place there if I couldn't sit there??
* like last time, had to ask for a wine list
* only brought three menus, had to ask for a fourth
* split my husbands beer and while this was mopped up, no apology
* reached across my husband at least twice to pass my food and wine, rather than serve from the right.
All sounds trivial, but such a shame as our first couple of visits were brilliant, great food and personal service. We thought we'd give the place another chance but we're going to look elsewhere next time.

“Pricey Indian - but worth it”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

We stumbled across this restaurant while attending a concert at the Civic Hall (across the road). Luck and an early start got us a table. Within half an hour the place was full (at six thirty).
Relatively short menu mostly has dishes I had never heard of so made choosing difficult! Too many things I wanted to try. Service went slightly awry a couple of times but overall it was definitely worth the premium price tag.
