Stayed overnight while visiting family. Bed only so can’t comment on breakfast. Good parking and room was very clean and had everything we needed. Warm welcome from the host. Really excellent value and better than staying in a budget chain.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us JaneyBoro and I’m glad you liked the appearance of the hotel at this time of year. The manager does a great job in that respect. If you are in the area again please give us a call. John

We stayed on a Saturday night and were given a ground floor room facing the main road. I couldn't believe how quiet the room was. The bed is up against the radiator, so I did have to turn that down, but that wasn't an issue as the room still stayed warm enough. Bed was comfortable and clean, with decent pillows. Bathroom was small but perfectly serviceable with clean, fluffy towels.
We decided to have a breakfast on the Sunday morning - there was a good selection of fruit, cereals, yogurts and croissants, but we opted for the full English. I couldn't finish mine! Great value for money and well cooked. I don't know how one man managed it all - taking orders, clearing tables, and (as far as I know) cooking to order as well.
This is a delightful hotel. About half an hour's walk from the train station, and a twenty minute or so walk to KK's Steel Mill (so handy for gigs). We will definitely stay again, and next time will probably take advantage of the ample-sized car park.

Thanks for your review and I agree that you would have to go a long way to find better Halloween decorations than those produced by Keith, the Manager. It’s great that you found your stay to be the value we strive to provide. John

We booked the Barons Court Hotel because of its location to the venue of the gig and was overjoyed. Our host Keith was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with tea and coffee etc. The hotel itself was quirky and full of interesting decor. Will definitely use again. Thank you Keith
