“Does anyone know Lennie Henry for these elusive £19 rooms?!”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

We have stayed in a number of Premier Inns and they are all clinically the same, but clinical in a positive way. Always clean, fresh and staff always 'nice' BUT, why is you cannot ever seem to get a room at the mythical £19, however much in front we seem to book. Breakfast is always a bit overpriced too, but apart from that, absolutely fine

I booked this hotel at 11pm on a Friday night after walking out of a disgusting Travelodge (Hilton Park M6 Stay away from this place).

My initial enquiry was dealt with by the night receptionist (Sam) who went out of his way to accommodate me and my family.

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well appointed, the bedding and towels were new and fresh.

Despite being next to a main road there was little or no road noise.

We had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant both days and again the staff were friendly and attentive.

I have learnt my lesson the hardway, I booked the Travelodge because it was the cheapest and I will never do it again.

Well done to all the staff at this Premier Inn, you are a credit to your company.

Thank you very much.

Having stayed in this Premier Inn on a number of occasions it is usually my first choice when I am in the area.

If you have stayed in a PI before then you kind of know what to expect and this one is no different.
All the staff are professional and friendly so no issues there.
The rooms are what you expect so another box ticked.

The meal in the Table Table was very good but they need to employ more staff, not what you would call a busy service but with only a couple of staff there was a bit of a wait.
Thumbs up for the staff on duty though, they were doing the best they could.

That's all the good points listed. My stay was completely ruined by the inconsiderate guests in the room above. Judging by the noise they were making I can only imagine they were part of an international furniture moving squad or may be they were training an elephant to use a pogo stick and the least said about their nocturnal exploits the better.
Even after a visit from the night porter the noise went on until 4am.

All said and done this was nothing to do with the staff and I would stay again as it's handy for buisness in the area but in future I think I'll ask for a room on the top floor to try and minimise disturbance.

Having a bad experince and changing hotels when we could I can say this hotel was a godsend. The staff were extremley friendly, helpful and the rooms were clean, room was large, bathroom clean, no road or other noise to wake us up. It was a very pleasant stay. I'd like to say thankyou to the staff there.

Another day, another business trip. Having arrived at 11.30pm in sunny Wolverhampton, the receptionist was very helpful and still joking. The staff are very helpful, the room was clean and tidy and the hotel in good condition. Travel Lodge take note! Went for breakfast in the morning in and agin very helpful and efficient. If you want a good budget hotel, Premier Inn have got it right. No noise and striaght onto the M54 in the morning.

Room Tip: All good. The room on the first floor will be quiet.

My wife and family were staying in Wolverhampton for a Family get together and searched long and hard to find the right hotel based on price, location and comfort. Aftersearching on line and reading hotel descriptions and customer feedback we opted for Premier Inn Wolverhampton North. Booking on line was simple and straight forward. On arrival we were met by friendly, chatty and helpfull staff who could not do enough for my disabled wife. More than enough parking was available including disabled parking right outside. On entering our Room (a standard double) we were blown away with how spacious, clean and comfortable it appeared. Not only double bed, dressing table but a huge sofa which was so comfortable you could have easily slept on it (even though I am 6ft 6" tall) - MInd you! didn't need the sofa as me and the wife didn't argue but it was nice to know it was there just in case. But seriously; the additional pillows provided, TV access and excellent bathroom made for an increadibly comfortable and relaxing stay. Moving down to meet our family in the adjoining restaurant, we found the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere continued. Adjoining the Hotel is a superb sports bar and dining facilities which serve excellent breakfasts, lunches and evening meals at very reasonable prices that won't break the bank. The food itself was excellent - far exceeding what you would expect for the price and the staff are agin increadibly friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel itself is located within about 10 minute drive from the city centre but you are actually right on the edge of the countryside west of the city. Access is very simple off the M6 the M54 and I would be amazed if anyone had trouble finding it. Overall I would (and have already) recommend this hotel to anyone. I cannot comment on other Premier Inns as this is the only one I have stayed in, but if this is typical they are not doing much wrong.

Room Tip: Go on the website and have a look at the photos but do not be deceived like we were! The rooms are d...
