As always a very enjoyable visit to the Grand. Only negative I can think of is the cost of drinks in the bar, but this can be overcome by crossing the road to the Moon under the Water an getting your drinks there. You can even preorder interval drinks there as well.

Booked to see fame the musical. Easy booking online or at the box office itself. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can actually pull up outside and get dropped off right outside either by taxi or car and the bus station/train station is a few minutes walk if that. Fame was a fantatstic musical well worth watching. They have some good shows on here little dated inside now but lovely atmosphere.

We booked to see the Rat Pack the theatre was brill booked on the net it was easy and straight forward with all the information easily to hand. When we got there all the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help booking interval drinks was also very easy and well labelled so easy to find in the interval. The Rat Pack was a disappointment Frank said that he knew we had come to here the old greats but they were going to shake it up a bit it went down hill from there the last thing you want is Sammy Davies jnr singing Michael Jackson!

The Grand is an old theatre but wonderful atmosphere, the shows which are on at the Grand are always excellent and would recommend a visit at least once.

The booking online was straightforward and warns you about seats which have a restricted view etc. Staff at the box office and bars were extremely friendly and helpful. Bar prices etc reasonable. We were not alone in feeling a little chilly - perhaps they could have turned the heating up, as it was far form a sell-out.
