Went to see the Stylistics and they were great. The venue was good but if you are a big person the seats are a little small. I went with two ladies and they were uncomfortable in the seating. I enjoyed the venue and would return and have returned. Great value for money.

Went here for a progressive rock concert (not my choice but my husband loved it)!
Venue easy to find, great view where ever you are, not too far from stage.
Good choice of beers/lagers which you can take in with you.

Cramped, tired, dated, badly maintained. The stalls are flat, not tiered, so when people stand the view is restricted. Uncomfortable narrow seats - the guy next to me was pushing me off my seat. Public areas around the hall too small. Locks don't work on the toilet doors. Poor acoustics.

Without a doubt the worst venue of this type I have ever been to.

Went to civic to see sold out gig by dream theater. With so many doors you did not have to wait to long to get in and it was straight upstairs to balcony.the bar had sufficient number of bar staff and at £3.60 for pint of banks bitter not cheap but could have been worse. I was standing so cannot comment on the seating but standing was okay and had good view of stage. Leaving was again very quick compared to some places I have been and all in all a very good venue.
If collecting your tickets you have to get them before you queue to get in and box office is the last door on right looking at the building.
