A throw-back to earlier days, but now hosts a very wide range of music concerts (both classical and 'pop'). The hall has a very fine 4 manual Compton organ.

The hall also hosts a variety of events, including major Darts Competitions.

Wolverhampton's CIVIC Hall has always been a great venue for entertainment, whether it be Classical or Rock music, it has always been held in high regard by punters and entertainers.
Last year Patti Smith,Alice Cooper and Gary Numan (not to mention The Moscow State Circus) were just a few of the famous names to play there. Always to packed houses and to a great audience response.Up and coming artists
have been very successful also since playing one of the Midlands Premier Venues. I have been
going for several years and reviewing acts for local papers and can therefore strongly recommend it.

Having seen dozens of gigs here credit must be given to the Civic for being one of the best concert venues in the UK. A great variety of acts and hardly a bad seat in the venue(although I am partial to the balcony). My only gripe with the place is the foolish 'no standing/dancing' policy and the overly exuberant enforcing of it by certain security staff. It can be an embarrassing spectacle to witness in the flesh. That aside it's a top-top venue and a definite plus to living in Wolverhampton.

Fantastic venue for music concerts from any area within the venue be that seated or standing, Super sound and because it's a small venue even on the back balcony you feel that you aren't too far away from the stage, have seen many music concerts here and have to say it's my favourite venue, drinks are cheap seating upstairs is great no bad seats

I've been to the Civic numerous times over the last 20 years, probably getting on for 100 visits to see bands, solo singers, comedians, darts etc etc. As a venue based on viewing lines and seating it's excellent, not a bad view in the place and great to see bands, no far off seating like at the enormo-domes of the NIA and the NEC. However, it desperately, desperately needs some money spending on it, i'm not sure it's been properly refurbished in 20 years and is starting to really show it's age. The toilets are awful and there is no aircon so it gets ferociously hot if the weather outside is warm. This place must make a fortune for Wolves council so god knows why they don't spend a bit on it. But if surroundings don't worry you and you just want to see good bands or comedians then it's an excellent venue.
