“A fascinating house”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

This house is fascinating. It is quite different and the family history involved is also interesting. We enjoyed seeing all the Wm Morris fabrics and decor.

“wightwick manor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Wichtwick Manor is a mock Turdor house once owned by the Manders family now a National Trust. The house externally is impresive in as much it is hard to realise it is not tudor but 19 Cent. The inside to me was just a wealthy family home, if your into wall paper ( i'm not ) Wn Morris designed some of the decorations. The very little was poor, the gardens didnothing to impress unlike Chatsworth,Bidoff, etc. A day out but not again unlike some of the places we have reviseted.
