Deceiving from the outside when we went inside, it was nicely decorated, and quite impressed I was. Starters were one of the best I'd ever Tasted. We had indian veg soup and lamb chops, highly recommend!!. Mains were pretty average. Nevertheless still very enjoyable. My only critism would be it can get so busy where it begins to feel like a cafe type atmosphere, maybe some louder music?? to drown the chit chat?? Overall a great night, would highly recommend.

Have been visiting here once a month or so for last view years the food is always good and the service is quick, and the place is very clean and modern looking. The Car park only holds about 5 cars but there is plenty of street parking and there is a larger car park for the shops next door only a minute away. Most people walk as its more or less a local restaurant. The drinks prices are average and the same goes for the food and we have never really had to complain about anything, the only little niggle we found on more than one visit in the last 6-9 months is the bills have had little extras we did not order like more extra drinks or a starter. When I've pointed this out to the staff they have removed it from the bill but this has made me wonder if its a simple mistake.

I would recommend a visit here but if your part of a large party book in advance as they lay out a good seating plan for bigger groups.

Overall we have had no complaints with eating here just check your bills.

We had been told to try the Malabar, as friends had tried and liked it. So when an opportunity presented itself, to arrange a mutually convenient location between ourselves and friends in Wombourne.. The Malabar was chosen.
Our booking was early one Saturday, consequently parking spaces were available immediately outside..bonus, as it was very cold.
We were led to our table and offered menus, our drinks order was also taken. Our food arrived in a timely manner and the quality, together with the service were what you'd expect at this price point.
My only gripe is the lighting, it was too dark and gave the impression of being in a nightclub. We will give it another try, but are in no rush.
