We stayed here last Sunday, the hotel met our expectations for a Premier Inn; a comfortable bed and basic but clean facilities. There was a hole in the duvet cover.
Breakfast was chaotic, no clean teaspoons, the mugs were grubby with stains inside, a poor variety and not much on offer on the buffet, the toaster was very slow and bread needed to be put through two or three times. I asked the young waiter for a teaspoon and he handed me a dessert spoon, by the spoon, not the handle. I always have the continental choice in a Premier Inn, but was disappointed by the choice and quality of the fruit, there were very few muffins on display and those that were did not look fresh so I didn’t try one. People were complaining that the cooked breakfast was slow. The two young waiters moved extremely slowly and seemed to lack training.
That said, the views from the hotel, looking out over the sea were lovely and I imagine, were the weather warmer, breakfast on the patio would have been delightful.More
