After seeing all the rave reviews we gave OM a go! Service was friendly and very good. The food was pretty tasteless. Onion bhaji was cooked fine but had no taste to it, really bland and couldn't take more than a couple of bites. The lamb dish was again quite bland apart from the lashings of salt and the meat tough. The chicken dish had flavour but was quite dry and the flavour resembled tinned soup. The sundries were all cooked fine. We have eaten at a number of Indian and Nepalese restaurants before so don't think it's just a personal taste thing - I think we've just been really unlucky. To be fair we were in a rush to order and went for a set menu (something we don't normally do), but still would expect something better. Genuinely gutted that it wasn't a better experience!
