“filthy lake”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

When will the council take note and clean up what was a safe and attractive lake. Recently due to a green algae over 100 of the wildfowl have died, WADARS have removed the lifeless bodies of ducks, Moorhens, Coots and a swan, maybe more. We are now being told not to walk dogs near the lake as it can be dangerous for them. I certainly would not allow a child of mine anywhere near the boating lake until this matter has been resolved.

“Don't bother”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Save yourself the pain! This pleasure park is dirty, smelly, dangerous and has dogs roaming around the grounds! The train was dirty, the boats were dirty and whole place smelled of sewage! The toilets were disgusting! I would not let my dog use them! Avoid at all costs…!!!!

“Great day out for young Children :)”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

Just got home from an afternoon at brooklands with my two year old.
Really nice afternoon. Lovely big park, free paddling pool, extra small fees to use the train, tractor etc but still worth it. Staff very friendly.
Only disappointment was the cafe prices. 50p for a tiny bag of party rings?! £1.50 for a small fruit shoot like drink! Next time will defiantly be taking our own picnic.
Understand they need to keep maintenance of the park etc especially when it's free to get in but maybe they need to review their prices a little bit in there.
Other than that excellent afternoon there. Will defiantly be returning :)

“good for kids.”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

The train owners have gone to tremendous efforts to improve the attractions. Great for small children. The disabled swing is fantastic-we need more of them. The pool area is very small- attempts have been made to improve everything but planning permission is almost impossible to get.I think a noddy train from the pier would be a great idea-however the attempts to run one in West Worthing failed due to council licencing apparently. A Tunnel would be be a great addition to the train.Cafe good. All in all a good place to take smaller kids for afternoon

“A must for families with young children”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Brooklands park is a great place to entertain your young children. There are the essential items: ample parking (pay/display), toilets (disabled), a cafe (for teas, coffee, meals & ice creams) & ample space for relaxation or picnics. It also has a miniature railway on which you can ride, children's playground, boating lake with boats to hire, tractor rides, nine hole Par 3 golf course, pitch-n-putt, putting green, go-kart track, pony rides and paddling pool (open during the summer) which are available all year round and are very welcoming for children of all ages and abilities. It's a short walk across a busy road from the beach (pebbles). A family could very easily lose a day in the place & tire out your children, who will most probably want to go back time & time again.
