“Fun day on the cheap !”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

This park is amazing. Loads of play and picnic areas . Great play ground . The paddling pool young children will love , which opens early summer free of charge !! There is a lovely boating lake you can walk round also hire boats. A miniature train runs around the lake (£1.50) but its well worth it. Children are perfectly safe to travel on their own . There are horse rides for all sizes (cannt remember price) plus indoor games. But , pack up a picnic and you can spend a great day here for free...except for car-parking ! There is a café there for hot snacks and drinks (reasonable price) plus ice-creams. Also toilets . The playground and train caters for disabled children so no one misses out.

“Expensive for what it is”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The park at Brooklands is quite good and little ones enjoy the train around the lake (£2), BUT the pony rides are £4 for not very long, the bouncy castles are £2 and the parking is not free. It's all a bit run down up there too, plus it can get very windy. You can leave thinking where did my money go? Not great value in my eyes - but the kids will probably enjoy it

“good for little ones”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

a nice park across the road from the beach, it's got quite a large pond for boating and a play area aimed for 2-6 year olds with activities over the holiday periods.

“Brooklands Park”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

We took our grandchildren here for a visit to show them where their mother used to play when she was young. We were very pleasantly surprised as to how many more facilities there are there now. Lots to do for the children. They particularly enjoyed the paddling pool followed by ice-creams. They loved the big playground with lots of different things in it like the big musical instruments. Then a pony ride and a lovely ride on the little train round the lake. We finished by having a walk round all the grounds. Boats to hire and other paid for facilities are also available.

“Lovely to walk around”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is a lovely little park. It has a little train, boating area and playground for the kids. A walk around the lake is pleasnat. The park also has Halloween theme nights which are very good. The grounds are well kept. There is a cafe serving snacks. It is also easy to walk around with a wheel chair. The only thing I disliked was that I had been on a week day with my mum and it had a great family atmostphere. However I went with my husband one hot Saturday afternoon and saw a few couples drinking out of wine bottles which did not create a good impression.
