We have just discovered this smallish Indian restaurant a couple of streets from where we live - so a great place to get to on a cold or wet day.
The menu has both traditional favourites (Madras, Jalfrezi, Balti etc) and an intriguing list of the Chef's specialities. We spoke to the chef's son who explained that because his father (the only chef) insisted on cooking each meal separately (even if a number of the same dishes had been ordered), this could take a little longer than expected from a standard Indian.
The food was very good - and there is a choice to have the food cooked in Olive Oil rather Ghee (which we chose) - and I can recommend this option.
We have tried the Chicken Madras and the Chicken Jalfrezi, along with some delicious and freshly cooked mushroom and bhindi bhajis. The spices are well combined - and each taste comes through well.
