I stayed at the Chatsworth for 6 nights in a group of 48 pensioners. The rooms were well maintained and modern and very clean. only weakness was the old TV and poor reception. We stayed half board, the food was very good with some different selections and the service was superb. The owner and managemnt were always available for help if required. The location was 50 yards to the sea front and about 150 yards to the town centre on flat ground. It was near a road but still very quiet at night. All our group enjoyed our stay and many said they would like to come back again.

The service i experienced was kind and helpful, the room was extremely nice, very clean and spacious. It was very well located as it was on the sea front and walking distance from the town centre. It was my first holiday without my partner and i found all the staff and other people very kind and helpful. It was a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

We decided in last minute to stay at this hotel and phoned reception to book a room with seaview just the day before we arrived. They had a room available with seaview and the lady on the phone very correctly said it was one of their nicest rooms. We didnt find the staff especially nice or friendly, they were ok. The room was great, big and spacious. However the hotel charged an extra 20pound to our room price for some reason - we have no idea why, because we confirmed the price 3 times and we didnt consume any extras. The staff at breakfast were nice and firendly, we had a great meal (English breakfast and pasties were available). If someone wants to go to Worthing it's worth staying at Chatsworth hotel, however the town itself is not nice at all. Dont go during winter though, the windows are in very bad condition, would let the cold inside the room.

Thank you for your feedback.
We are glad you found our rooms 'spacious' and our breakfast's 'great'.
Regarding the extra charge, all of our sea view rooms have a £10 per person supplement charge, in conjunction with special offers.
There is no need to worry about winters at the Chatsworth Hotel. Although we still have our traditional sash windows, the modern heating system keeps the rooms wonderfully warm.

Travelled with a party of 44 all retired, the hotel was very well situated near the front and overlooking a park . the rooms were spacious and well equipped and the bathroom had a lovely large cubicle with a power shower, the food was excellent and plentiful and the service was first class, i would recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly be returning when possible.

First visit to Worthing. Friendly town. Hotel very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Good shopping centre a 5 minute walk away. Beach and pier just round the corner. Great fun watching people, children and dogs at low tide. Dogs had the best fun ever! A delight to see. Slight olde worlde feel to hotel, but good dining room and excellent breakfasts. Bedrooms a tad on the small side, and the bathrooms too, but everything you need, and quite cosy really. TV's small old fashioned analogue, but you're not there to watch tv! Restaurants closed early on Sundays, or didn't open at all, so make sure you know where you're eating on a Sunday night. Was a first class Noodle Bar takeaway on the corner near the pier. Recommend that highly, but can't remember what it's called.
Hotel has games room downstairs with pool/table tennis, a well stocked library, wifi, bar, and it was a very pleasant stay for all of us. Worthing Shopmobility excellent if you need to hire an electric scooter/wheelchair.

Stayed here with my husband and we were given the most lovely dual aspect room, 4 poster bed (this was actually quite lumpy and uncomfortable, my husband did not get a good nights sleep but that was the only downside to our stay) raised seating area overlooking the beach. The room was a great size with flat screen tv on a swivel bracket so you could watch it in bed or in the seating area. Free wifi which was good too. The hotel was quiet, guests were mainly elderly people who danced the night away to a guy on an accordion.

We didn't dine in but the breakfast was nice the following morning. Not a huge choice of fruit (only grapefruit or prunes) and only one sausage and rasher of bacon but still delicious.

The staff were all very friendly and polite and we will definitely be returning!

Thank you for your review and for your kind words which have been passed onto the appropriate departments.
We would also like to thank you for bringing our attention to the 'lumpy' bed in your room, we are unaware of things such as this until customers point them out - the mattress was replaced immediately.
There is a fruit salad option on the breakfast menu, this is kept in the kitchen so it stays as fresh as possible and is available to order from the waiting staff.
Once again, thank you for your comments and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Chatsworth Hotel in the near future.
