“Unexpected gem”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

The A303 is a long road and we decided to stop here for a break; from the outside the Diners Delight is nothing out of the ordinary, but you step inside to a total contrast. Newly decorated, very light and bright and a warm welcome from the lady chef. A great selection of home-cooked food chalked up on the board, served promptly and with a smile. Great coffee. So nice to find a family run 'service stop' rather than the usual anonymous mediocre fare. It was a pleasure to spend my money here, rather than the usual experience of feeling ripped off at a motorway services. Well done!

“Good Food”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

Excellent food - the chef's special chicken and chorizo pie was brilliant. Most of the food is simple cafe fare - but well done, and there are always chef's specials. The decor and cleanliness is excellent - a cut above normal cafe standard, and the service is first class. A very pleasant visit, highly recommended

“Honest Food - Done really well”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

We found this 'roadside' cafe completely by accident, Oct 17th 2013, on a trip back from Axminster. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, the food is prepared to order and very good indeed. There's fairtrade coffee, vegetarian and gluten free meal options and the surroundings are bright and clean. If you're travelling on the A303 make a stop and support a local business it's worth it - Oh and btw order some chips they were the best we had tasted for a while :)

“Home cooked interesting menu”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Really pleasant surprise to stop on the A303 at such a welcoming homely place - great fair trade coffee and varied, locally-sourced home cooked food with no problem varying the breakfast to your preference. Highly recommended - really friendly atmoshere and brilliantly clean.

“Do stop here”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Revamped cafe now worth a visit. Good food pleasant decor & staff. A teapot rather than just a cup would have been nice, but minor point. We will call again on our next trip down the A303 you should too
