“A Wedding Week-end.”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

I stayed here with 3 friends for a family wedding, the hotel chosen mainly for its location, convenient to church and generally accessible. The 3 rooms were spacious, comfortable and provided all that we needed. The staff were charming, a very special mention for Krystal on the front desk, welcoming, interested, and most helpful, even offering to book taxis for us from the reception back to the hotel. We booked a "meal deal" for Friday eve, at the attached Table Table, where the restaurant manager was patient and unfazed by our party growing in number from 14 to approx. 20! In no time we were whisked off to a function room, where we could spread out and have room to talk. The waitress calmly took orders and served our large and varied group with a smile, managing to bring all meals to the table in a close time frame. Well done, Bernice!
Breakfast on both days was excellent, plenty of choice in the Continental and freshly cooked breakfasts were exactly as requested. I would highly recommend the hotel, it may not be in a scenic spot, but it provides a great and comfortable base for any type of stay in this area. Thankyou!

This hotel ticks all the boxes but had too wait an hour for dinner to be served. However, it was a Bank Holiday Saturday and the staff were very apologetic. Premier Inn, always my first choice! Never yet been disappointed.

Stayed here over Easter weekend for 1 night. Hotel quiet, large free car park and staff friendly. On checking in I said that I had not booked breakfast as we weren't sure what our plans were the next day and the receptionist said it was no problem. The next morning we decided to have breakfast but on arriving at the restaurant we were told that there were no tables left as it was Easter Sunday! The lady then said she'd try to squeeze us in. She said that there was only 1 chef working so they were doing their best. We then realised that you had to order your cooked breakfast and wait for it. At that point we decided against having breakfast as we didn't have much time.

We stay in Premier Inns regularly & this one was very high standard. The staff were excellent & Lauren had even phoned me about a food reservation as it was Valentines night.

That's where it went down hill. After a long wait in the bar to be served, we were eventually served by a female, who bordered on rude/ disinterested. We were shown to a table & told it was very busy, despite several empty tables. It was the second time eating in a Table Table restaurant & will be the last. Very uninspiring menu, poorly cooked & very slow service will guarantee a non return. In fact I will ensure that if we use a Premier Inn with one attached, we will dine out elsewhere.

That said, breakfast was great, staff friendly & lovely surroundings.

Situated out of town but convenient for visiting National Trust properties and other attractions in this part of Somerset. Really friendly staff and with only 20 rooms this is a nice quiet hotel and up to Premier Inn normal high standards. The adjacent Airfield Tavern provides OK food - need to travel further afield for fine dining. A bigger Premier Inn is under construction in central Yeovil which will give a good choice of location and be closer to local amenities.

Super value for money. We had a one night stay whilst attending a function at Westland. Clean room and very comfortable bed in which we slept soundly. Functional clean bathroom. Special mention and thanks must go to Lauren on reception who sorted out and diffused a potential parking problem owing to football goers using the car park to attend the nearby Yeovil FC ground. (Thanks again Lauren.)

Room Tip: Room 11 at the back of the hotel was very quiet when we stayed.

Ok, it's a standard chain hotel and you get what you pay for. The difference? The staff here were lovely and helpful throughout our 2 days there and very accommodating.
Having not been to Yeovil before and attending a wedding at nearby Brympton, we were given specific directions that were also printed off for our benefit and taxi's etc also booked.
Location wise, it's perfect as it's only 5 minutes from town and literally 10 minutes from the A303 or M5.
I would happily stay here again.
