I went to Bar Nineteen with my partner recently. We had a lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio which was delightful & not very expensive. We shared a Chacuterie platter & finished off with the homemade chocolate brownie! The staff were very friendly & the decor is very pleasant. This is a special place & would certainly recommend it to my family & friends. I understand they cater for private parties & functions. I'll definitely be back as I hear they have a very pretty garden when the sun comes out again!

What a great place to relax with friends with good food and drinks with friendly staff in a great atmosphere. A touch of the exotic Middle East nestling in Charing's historic village setting.

Tucked away in the quiet village of Charing, a gem of a place! The Mediterranean mezze platter was great as was the home made brownie. the staff was very welcoming and it felt like being in Istanbul rather than just outside Ashford! Really different, try it!

What a great discovery! Only opened up recently - beautifully decorated loungy place in the middle of a quaint village, just outside Ashford. Small food menu, but all done with care and eye for detail. Sparkling wine by the glass, Peroni on draught ( so we were both happy!) and great chilled atmosphere. Will definitely go back. Shame they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Highly recommended!
