Highly recommended family run hotel in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The hotel offers a friendly service, excellent food and wines, well stocked bar, professional business facilities for workshops and small conferences, and also caters for weddings and other events.

Worst stay of 2004. Laughable now but not funny then with needing a night's sleep. I was given a room over the front door and, from 12 onwards was constantly kept awake by the sound of the front door bell being rung! Yes, at this hotel they lock the doors at midnight and guests ring a doorbell to get in! Everything else was thoroughly average at best.

We booked a family room, and on arrival the room was freezing, we were told the heating would come on at 4pm!We had a terrible meal in the resteraunt, which we had to wait for 45minutes for, as they had a function on in the hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful, then a band for the function played underneath our room keeping my two small children awake until 12.45amIf you like food, have children or suffer from the cold, do not stay here.
