We stayed overnight in this property and were very impressed. Clean and comfortable throughout with nice relaxing decor and well equipped bedrooms, the building inside and out was 'pleasant on the eye.' Staff were attentive and polite, but we found reception on the 'cooler side of warm' for our one night stay. The bed was massive and quite comfortable but I opted for average sleep quality rather than very good in the review, [it was a toss up] based on the 'double' bed being 'twins' pushed together which left a 'dip' in the middle. Also the hall and room we stayed in had just been decorated and the paint fumes [slight tacky feel to glossed area] were still lingering and quite strong. That's just unfortunate timing I know, but perhaps the rooms shouldn't have been used quite so quickly after decoration. I'm possibly being a little 'picky' but on the whole a wonderful hotel that I would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again if in the area.
You really must walk around the village to the duck pond and in the grounds of Wroxton Abbey. It's now a college but you can wander the grounds at your leisure [no charge] where you will find nice gardens and ponds to the rear of the building !

Thank you for all your positive comments and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We do take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of the hotel which takes constant 'touching up' but try to keep painting and refubishment to quieter times of the year to cause the least amount of disturbance to our guests.

This was my first stay at this hotel, for a bridge weekend. The hotel was delightful, my room clean, comfortable and well equipped. The nature of our stay meant that the group had to be served at the same time - often a reason for less than great food and rushed service. The meals were lovely and the menu imaginative - the service attentive especially our charming waiter Chris.
A great weekend - thank you.

Fantastic four night stay at the Wroxton House Hotel. Quite simply, this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Beautifully presented accommodation, the highest standard of design and cleanliness. The service was exemplary in all areas . The food was excellent and locally sourced and we honestly felt that the staff could not do enough for us. We will definately be going back.

It is great to have such positive comments and we were overwhelmed by your review. I hope you left us your email address so we can let you have our special winter offers. There is something very decadent about a delicious cream tea by the fire after a brisk stroll through the Cotswold countryside..........hope we see you again soon.

This is my second stay here and I will not be staying anywhere else in the area any time soon, everything is perfect, clean and fresh looking, it's got style from the minute you drive in, attentive staff, especially Sean the GM who is always on hand, rooms spotless, really smart and modern whilst still warm and personal. Breakfast is fabulous with the hot offering coming plated from the kitchen which is a great touch, 5 stars*****

We stayed at the Wroxton House Hotel for my Mum's 60th birthday and my parents' ruby wedding celebration. All of our party agreed that the hotel had been a fantastic choice, providing such a wonderfully welcoming and comfortable venue.
We stayed in a really large family room (myself, my partner and two young children), my parents and all of our extended family and friends were equally very happy and complimentary about their rooms and the staff welcome.
We had a private dining room booked for a four course meal which was fantastic, the service was faultless and staff were always there and willing to do all they could to ensure we were happy and enjoying our evening.
Our weekend celebration went so smoothly and the hotel provided such a lovely backdrop to our family gathering - thank you so much for our stay!

If you need to be in this part of the country stay here. If you don't - think of a reason to have a break here - there is lots to see/do.

I expect a hotel to provide the relevant basics for the price - and it is always a relief when they do. Service/delivery/friendliness however is a variable that can be hit or miss. The Wroxton House delivered on all fronts. Food excellent.

We have nothing but praise for Wroxton House Hotel. We recently attended a uni reunion here. The quality of the room, the food, and the service were all excellent, as was the help from the management in arranging our stay. The provision of the Wroxton Room for dining, and the allocation of the lower lounge to meet, was greatly appreciated. Although there was another function at the hotel at the same time, it no way detracted from the quality of the service that we received. The hotel offered us an excellent centre for visiting the many places of interest nearby. We look forward to returning, and highly recommend the hotel.
