Nice country pub and restaurant with good parking and quality food at reasonable prices.
This pub once called the Moody Cow doesn't seem to change some at all, which is a fairly good thing in this case. The ale selection is not to my liking, it's a pity as there are a number of fairly local breweries they could choose from e.g. Hooky and Purity and yet they choose not very good ones from the West Country!
The food however is good but having just been for Sunday Lunch, while the food was very good we were surprised at being presented with everything on the plate including gravy! My wife doesn't like gravy and I don't like carrots, so please don't put gravy and vegetables on the plate, rather a side dish.
I would certainly recommend this gastro pub for a nice meal out.
