Stayed two nights in this lovely guest house - very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, super location overlooking Pavilion Gardens and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Buxton. Can highly recommend!

Warm welcome into a beautifully located and immaculate house..Superb room, on the first floor overlooking the lake..clinically clean with soft towels and all the toiletries you might need.
Breakfast was the best ever, choice and service without any fault...Hosts were there to help and assist where needed...Other staff very courteous and obliging.

Room Tip: Talk directly to the owners, for the best advice

A charming Guest House I would recommend to anyone. Large rooms with period charm
cosy public area and excellent position with parkland views. Very friendly owners and staff who take the time to make you feel like a special guest. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and quality products.

The B & B is clean and fresh and in a very good location! The bear on the chair is slightly off putting but each to their own. We stayed in Room 12 and did not enjoy the room at all (yes it does say bed not suitable for tall people) which we are not but we really did not expect it to be so cramped in the room/bed. The room is dark because of the very very small shower and toilet room, it stops light coming through. The TV is very small and cannot be watched if sat on one of the huge wing chairs ( nice touch but too big for that room!) Using the toilet your legs are almost touching the wall in front. The room is also situated on a stairwell and we could hear people going up and down the stairs. Also the noise from the room above was rather loud. We read the description of the bed being small and thought because we aren't 'tall people' we would be fine - we did not expect the room to be so small and cramped. In our opinion the owners would probably be better selling the room as a Single Room! Also it's lovely to read about Gerard and Maggi in the information booklet - but too much taken up on you both - just a little bit me, me,me! Sorry but just our opinion!
We would stay again but definitely not in that room.

Room Tip: Couples (of any size) avoid Room 12 ....unless you don't mind small and cramped and noisy stairwells!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Roseleigh and all the excellent reviews we had read before we went were true.
It's a great place for a stay and in a superb position close to everything. The breakfasts were brilliant and everything was so clean and well kept.
So, we strongly recommend the Roseleigh.
