“Stunning countryside and walks a plenty!”

Such a large area, impossible to cover in one day. Will definitely be going back. It depends where you go but we had an ice cream by the reservoir before embarking on a walk to an old ruin.

“Fantastic walk around the reservoirs.”

Very easy walk as mainly flat on the one side. If you wanted a harder walk there is woods on the other side. Dam between the 2 reservoirs was amazing.

“"On top of the world"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2014

How fortunate we were to have one of the brightest, sunniest days to walk in the Goyt Valley for the first time. It was a quiet Monday in January, so hardly anyone about, but a beautiful clear day to walk up the easy path to one of the highest points and look out at the wonderful scenery. The circular walk was about 6 miles, with one fair pull up at the start, but rewarded with a feeling of being 'on top of the world' away from all the crowds! Just wonderful.

Great for walks, long or short. I'd rather you didn't go so that I can have the place all to myself.
