We arrived and were able to join a tour within 20mins. Tour lasted approx 30mins but was very interesting, educational and humourous

Had a quick lunch after in the Cafe (Food Standards Rating of 5) and was very nice also.

Would recommend if in the area.

My husband and I went in December and were the only ones in the entire cave! We basically got a V.I.P. tour. The guide was very informative and even took our picture for us, then let us wander around. The cafe was okay, but I would recommend bringing a lunch because they ran out of bacon when we got there!

Visited on Friday 22nd Feb. Very cold and actually warmer in the cavern.
Fantastic guide, (Ashley) answered all the questioned that the five boys (not all mine) could throw at him and always made sure that we were all safe and accounted for at all times. I loved it. Its £24 for a family ticket but that lasts for a year, will def try to go again. The hot chocolate in the cafe was lovely. :)

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the caves themselves were quite awe inspiring - well worth a visit and the cafe was very reasonably priced

Well worth visiting, although quite expensive (make sure you gift aid it). The caves are really impressive, and the guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. The paths and the visitor centre look like they have been done up quite recently. Cups of tea and cookies in the café afterwards were very welcome – it’s cold in the cavern. You can also walk up to the folly on the hill in the country – if you follow the path from the Cavern it’s quite an easy walk – about half an hour to get there.
