Friday 18th October 10.30am. My Wife & I were visitors to Buxton and were ready for a good breakfast. this Maket Place Cafe met all our needs. We had a Big Breakfast. which was great .Egg , Bacon, Sausage, Beans , Tomatoes ,Mushrooms & blackpudding & Pancake plus lots of Toast & a Mug of Tea & a Mug of Coffee. Very Nice , the cafe also had a good selection of recent Newspapers.
Highly recomended.
We will call here again , Why dont You ?

a very clean and appealing café offering a selection of many different dishes from "the average " café menu. the staff were all very presentable with a friendly smile from the start , a good selection of local tourist information together with magazines to read whilst your food is freshly prepared , which was served piping hot, just what you want on a cold day .also very important was the clean and unusual toilet facilities its worth a visit just for that
all in all a very good choice , the ladies who run this certainly know what they are doing
which is difficult to find these days , lets hope it stays this way .

Situated near the market place, this cosy little café serves excellent value-for-money breakfasts with a friendly service. A full breakfast with egg, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, beans, black pudding and Derby oatcake and a mug of tea or coffee was £5.99. Our only complaint was that individuals or couples had sat down at tables for 4 and our little group had to spread over three tables. Nonetheless, highly recommended; it deserves the certificate of excellence.

I paid a visit to the Tradesman's entrance on the advice of a High Peak bus driver, and have to say I wasn't disappointed. Really enjoyed my full english breakfast, one of the best i've had for a while I must add, the atmosphere was great, the staff lovely, would highly recommend this cafe to anyone! Will definitely be back again soon!
