I have visited this cafe twice in September 2012.The cafe is scupulously clean. The staff are attentive and courteous.Meals are made to order.Tradesman's Full English Breakfast is only £5.50 and includes toast & a mug of tea or coffee. The smaller version is £4.50.there is a full menu from soup of the day to specialty meals. What sets this cafe apart is that they use fresh food, and locally sourced food. The cafe is at the top of the hill past the Town Hall,on the left hand side opp. Sainsbury,s. There is a bus stop in both directions, near the cafe.Excellent value for money.Would recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely top class fried breakfast in lovely surroundings. Efficient, friendly staff and, should you need it, the best loo you'll find anywhere!

Having just having completed a two and a half hour bus ride from Nottingham,my wife and i had a 3 hour walk around the Buxton sites Quite good .
Looking for some where to eat we ended up in the market place, where we came across the Tradesman entance Restaurant. It was the name that caught
our eye then we spotted the Tripdvisor sign on the door that was good enough for us. the staff took our order, coffee was soon bought to table. the food was quite good and cheerfully served. the price was reasonable. The facilities were according to my wife and self, were about the best we have seen in this type of restauraurant, and the cleanest. All in all well worth a visit if you pass through Buxton. A credit to all concerned, well done and thanks

I LOVE a huge fry-up from time to time, much to the chagrin of my inner organs. Sadly, many of the best purveyors of this type of self-abuse tend to be run down old cess-pits with chipped Formica tables, and toilets that a refugee camp would be ashamed of, serving huge plates heaving with grease laden comestible tossed onto the table by dour old scabrous witches.

The oddly and euphemistically named "Tradesmans Entrance" bucks this trend. The guilty pleasure experienced by eating such taboo food is ameliorated by the excellent surroundings, the warm friendly welcome and the scrupulously clean kitchen and dining area.

So (whispers)go on, go on, go on - if you're in the mood for a great fry-up I could not recommend this place highly enough, but don't tell your cardiologist I sent you (touches side of the nose) OK?
