the staff walk around with no enthusiasm like they're stuck in a dead end job! No passion no customer service and the selection on the menu is awful. Its all the same nothing stands out and catches your eye. Very very average place at best, wont be returning again

One of the better whetherspoons pubs! Food is pretty nice especially for the price you pay, service could be slightly better in terms of clearing tables but all staff are helpful and friendly! Would recommend for a nice meal with friends

I had a couple of hours to kill in Buxton recently so I headed to The Wye Bridge House. I had the Brunch Burger which is a bun, beef burger, bacon, egg, onion rings and chips - all for 6 pounds something AND you get a free pint of real ale! Incredible value and great tasting food. The actual pub is light and airy with a lovely wood block floor. Well worth a visit if you are in Buxton.

The Wye Bridge House is at the end of the town centre set in a beautiful building with lovely scenic views if you sit at the back of the dining area.
Spotless throughout and particularly in the restaurant and toilets. It's screams that someone cares and looks after the place. A credit to the management team and staff.

We called in at the start of the 6 Nations weekend and it was heaving with rugby fans. Even so, we found a really pleasant table and we were served at the bar very quickly by the assistant manager. Very engaging, top service !

£11.50 ish for two hearty meals and two soft drinks, fantastic value. The food isn't high end but it delivers all and more for the prices they charge. Fantastic value for money. We often go in the "Lord Wilson" ( another JD Wetherspoons ) in Huddersfield, but this one is far better.

We loved the old fashioned decor and the good natured ambience the pub gives out.

I guess this is the final nail in the coffin for "The Railway" just up the road. The Wye Bridge House is smarter, cleaner, better value and with great staff.

Congratulations team Wye Bridge House for a job well done !

I'm glad that you enjoyed your visit. We try very hard to make everyones experience a good one, and i'm glad that you were still able to enjoy your meals with the rugby on in the pub, its sometimes hard to keep everyone happy on such occasions! I hope we will see you again soon, maybe when the weather improves and you can sit outside and enjoy the views better. thanks again i will pass on the comments to all the staff.
