Well worth the walk and the effort to get to the top. You see Buxton from a very different perspective.

“Worth the walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

Despite the weather & not being able to see very far in front of our faces, this was worth the walk. I thought there would an information board there though (maybe the mist hid it from view?)

“Great views from the top, but hold onto your hat!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

We've walked up to Solomon's Temple on two separate occasions, and both times it's been blowing a gale at the top. I was determined to climb the steps to the top of the tower on our visit last week, even though it was blowing a gale, and the views were well worth the climb!

“Nice beautiful walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

It was a nice beautiful walk up hill with my husband. The scenery was amazing esp at the top of the hill. Along the way up, the land scenery was like a wood, not so green, but once you reach the top you will be surprise with a large open space of grass land, and the view from top of the hill was stunning! Definitely a place to visit when you are in Buxton! We had a great time walking up the hill and spent more time relaxing at the top of the hill! Nice amazing view!

“birds eye view of Derbyshire”

Absolutely superb views with 360 degrees of uninterupted beauty. A bit of a walk, especially if you have just completed 3 hours at GO APE, but well worth it !
