“Go for excellent views of Tipperary”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

If only for the views, there are many good viewing areas, go to local tourist office for location near where you are visiting. If you have time and good walking boots, go for a walk.

“Mountains”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

There's always sunshine on at least one of the mountains. Stop into Cahir tourist info and they will provide free walk trail maps. Beautiful scenery. Wear good wet weather walking shoes, bring a packed lunch and rain coat and you're set.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

The Glen of Aherlow is a little gem hidden at the foot of the Galtee mountains. If you come the Tipperary Town side, you will arrive at the "Christ the King" statue which stands watch over the beautiful scenery. On a clear day you see almost as far as Mitchelstown. If you ar driving around the Tipp area, a visit to the "Glen" is almost obligatory.
