We went here for lunch on Friday, having been attracted by the 2-course menu @ £8.95. We had a lovely meal with reasonable portions. The main course (Penne Salmone, i.e. pasta tubes with strips of salmon fillet and fresh broccoli in a white wine, garlic and cream sauce) was excellent, with the pasta and broccoli cooked to perfection. We also had desserts which were very nice; there is no cheap deal on these, so @ £4.10 they seem expensive compared with the 2-course lunch. However, a good 3-course meal for £13.05 still represents great value.
The house white wine was OK, nothing special. Service was pleasant, courteous and efficient. All in all, very enjoyable and we are likely to return.
