Stayed here one night en route to Somerset. Quiet location at the foot of Chepstow Castle. Decent restaurant and bar downstairs. My room was at the front with view of castle and ancient mural which inexplicably was covered up by a pair of curtains. Large room, decent bathroom. 60 pounds inc. a good English breakfast. Lovely quiet garden. At the far end of the garden are more rooms in a separate building. Owner's dog likes to bring you sticks and play "pull stick". Wi-fi not available in room but good access downstairs.
