Stayed for 2nights with my wife and friends who had come to watch the racing. The owner Julie was away but we were met on arrival by Sue and from that moment until we left the service we were given was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and Sue's husband Chris even took us to where we wanted to eat each evening. The rooms were spotless and facilities were excellent, the shower is super powerful. Breakfast was very tasty and there was loads to choose from. Without doubt this is the best B and B I have ever stayed in and would recommend to anyone. Thanks to Sue and Chris for a fantastic stay.

Booked only day in advance. You can see on website each of the 5 bedrooms. Booked the Aintree room. Very comfortable. Met at the door by Julie the owner, offerd a cup of tea after my journey. Good value for money with excellent free Wifi and breakfast cooked to order.
Private bathroom was across the galleried landing, hence the welcome provision of slippers and bathrobe. The website is so detailed it would be good to know this in advance along with everything else.
Beautiful bathroom with walk in shower (no bath in that room), although water temperature could vary a fair bit whist in shower.
I arrived late and out fairly early next morning so did not get a chance to meet other guests in the lounge available for guests use. Would definitely stay again. Good value and recommended

Room Tip: Photos of rooms on website - all look nice, Aintree room private bathroom is across galleried landi...

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago, we arrived within half an hour of booking in by phone. Julie the owner opened the door as we drove into the drive and welcomed us. The house the service you could not fault it . I loved our room everything was so modern. We were asked what time we would like our breakfast, and cooked to perfection. The only down side was that we only stayed one night . Thank You Julie ! Hope to see you again .

Nice and clean, good facilities . Washing clothes etc. Very comfortable lounge and Poole table in adjacent room to lounge. The staff were very helpful, giving extra portions at breakfast if required.
Would recommend for families and singles.

My husband and I stayed here when he was competing at a local triathlon. We arrived late in the evening after a long drive and had a great welcome from the owner (Julie). My husband had a very early start the next morning (5am) and as a consequence we hadn't booked breakfast but Julie insisted on leaving out some pain au chocolat and other items so that he would have something to eat. I did have a full breakfast the next morning and it was great!
The rooms were very comfortable and the whole guesthouse was immaculately clean. I would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse!

We stayed for one night in August. I would no problem recommending this guesthouse to anyone. It is immaculately decorated and furnished. Very comfortable, good service and an excellent breakfast.

A little out of the town but only takes a few minutes in the car - walkable in about 20 minutes.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have an en suite - if required ask when booking
