Found this little place near to the Dunkeld Catherdral and we battled our way through to find a table.
The service was good and their pleasant staff took our order.
We were kept informed of our order of soup (Dunkeld Soup) that it would be on its way in a few moments and true to their word it arrived piping hot with lovely bread.
Fab place for Cakes although a little expensive.
Great pot of tea served in proper cups. No rubbish mugs here.
Paid up at the counter on the way out and had to be very careful not to knock over the cakes behind us as we paid.
Something that can be resolved without too much trouble.
Some premises that are small and successful nevertheless, have a wonderful warm atmosphere.
Well worth a visit.

Many thanks for your comments.

This is our first full year on site and we have known that we would change the arrangements at the till area but have tried to see the best route forward by working with what we had to begin with.

After great debate , alot of head scratching and many comments of if only we had another 3 feet this way or that ~ we finally have a plan and we have the trades guys lined up to do our reorg in the new year.... so fingers crossed that we have got it right .?!

There have been many times where we have squeezed past people and cakes but hopefully it will all be so much easier in the New Year ~ we hope that you feel inclined to visit us to see what we've done.... or at least check out the photos online... thanks again for your kind comments. Fiona

Delighted to find this wee cafe on a recent visit to Dunkeld. Friendly, helpful staff serving delicious hearty soup and what an array of delicious home bakes :-))) Loved the mix of modern with vintage crockery too!

A good little tea-room. The waiting staff were friendly even though being kept very busy. Good choice of food (i had scone monsieur - quite different & very tasty), and some lovely home made cakes.

An out of the way cafe but worth the journey. It is a little cramped but this is probably because they are so busy. The food is good size portions, tastes lovely & reasonably priced. The cakes are all freshly baked & scrumptious! The waiting staff are friendly & helpful - well worth the visit.

THANKS !

we appreciate your comments... we don't squeeze the place full to bursting as a policy ...a gentleman sat at a table for 4 today for a bowl of soup and we were very happy for his custom ...but we did take a bit of flack from another potential customer who was dismayed at not being able to get a table~ went for a walk came back and still couldn't get a table and left angrily .... we do our best in not chasing people out and trying to give enough space but space is at a premium and we try to get a balance ..thanks for stopping in and we hope to see you again.
