Four of us had a meal there and found it a very friendly pub. The meals were all very good, served hot. The atmosphere was excellent, reasonable choice on the menu and not over priced. We were made to feel welcome.

Thank Julie Y

A sadly no longer typical English pub with value for money food and a great retro atmosphere. Nothing nicer in the summer than a pleasant walk in the beautiful Kent countryside and a cool pint at a pub that feels like a community pub and not just drinking hole as so many do these days.

My wife and I go here quite a lot. Excellent home cooked, reasonably priced food. Its in a great location and a lovely local pub feel to it. The nachos with sweet chili sauce are a great starter and they have Thatcher's on draught.
The wwii model planes and wwii pictures and information are excellent and remind me of how important this part of the world was during the second world war.

Go here for dinner and few pints.

Visited the pub over the Christmas holiday and will go back as soon as we can. Loved the atmosphere and the memorabilia; strange, a fireplace smelling of soot(?) Having already eaten we didn't dine but what we saw looked good, wholesome, value-for-money food. Full of friendly people including the landlady and landlord. And there is bar billiards! Don't change anything.
