Ideal location for the Channel Tunnel. Very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Added bonus of air conditioning. Dinner was fine and there was a good selection of food at breakfast. Overall, good value for money.

Perfect stop before crossing the channel either by train or boat. 10 min from Dover. Very friendly staff, parking might difficult as I believe there are 101 rooms and 101 parking spaces. Food, well that could possibly be improved. So could breakfast.

Friendly staff, breakfast very reasonable, free newspaper. This hotel does exactly what you want and expect at a very reasonable price - allows you to rest up very well overnight before catching a ferry the next day.

It's a bit further from the ferry than one might think - allow 30 minutes from walking out of the front door for a very easy time getting to the ferry, for slow drivers. If you think "10 mins from the terminal" is a good guide, think again. One might well hammer it in a (very) fast car, and that would not have made it in 10 minutes.

Tip: Fill up at the Tesco station immediately down the road from the hotel before arrival. That allows for a faster getaway with a full tank the next day, and the rip-off stations in France near the ferry.

The breakfast waiters/waitresses were particularly pleasant, as was the late night receptionist. Fine staff, good value. Rooms were very reasonable too, considering. Decent shower (no bath), TV ok and beds firm and clean. Bit of space to move around, nothing that made one feel ripped off in an obviously 1-nighter job.

Would have no problem staying you again.

Chose this hotel as it is but 10 mins from the Channel Tunnel. The welcome from the desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean, air conditioned and the bed comfortable. There's a Tesco 5 minutes walk away for late night snacks/stocking up.
I bought a beer at the bar and whilst it was more expensive than my local (up north and all that!) considering the location and the captive market, it wasn't too shocking......and there's always the Tesco round the corner.
Given the fact that most of the guests seemed to be either starting or returning from holiday, it was good to see that the car park had video surveillance.
The breakfast was plentiful and as I'd booked via Booking.com, checkout was just a case of handing in the room card.
I'd certainly stop here again if using the Tunnel/Ferry again.

Early tunnel booking made bearable by staying so close. Location was great, reception staff friendly and efficient. Room was clean, very well maintained and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. Bar and restaurant also available. Would definately use again.
