This restaurant has a beautiful interior, and the service is really, really good. However, personally, I felt like the food needed a little more work. I had the fish soup to start which was excellent, but the bread that was served to the table was dry and crumbly, and the butter did not have that lovely buttery taste. Hubby had the french onion soup which he said was the nicest french onion soup he has ever had. I then had the braised oxtail which was okay but it was mainly fat and bone with very little meat, which was disappointing when it cost as much as it did. The mash that it was served on was however delicious. Hubby had the mixed grill which he did not like. He said that there was no meat on the lamb, the sausage was not very nice and the steak was average. He compared this to a very expensive pub lunch. For dessert I had the clotted cream rice pudding, but the rice was barely cooked. I offered it around to everyone on the table, but no one could eat it, which was a real shame. All in all the setting and the service is wonderful, but our food was hit and miss - some aspects were excellent, some really weren't.

The meal we had out t the Three Acres was one of the best I've had. All three courses were perfectly executed and of the highest quality. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great as everybody seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Just fabulous!

Came here on a corporate night out. Shame it is so far away, definately worth a return visit.
We dined in The Tasting Room which was a small room situated off the main bar area.
The main bar/restaurant area was so warm and inviting.
The meal itself was delicious, steak and Beef dripped chips was my Main choice, Cooked to perfection, all our meals were cooked to request.
Please please consider this restaurant for a romantic night out with the Missus or whoever you wish to bring, it will not disappoint.

First time dining here and won't be the last. Excellent service, great atmosphere and surprisingly generous portion sizes. Would probably just visit here for special occasions.
