Description: Based in the heart of the Pennines on the West/South Yorkshire border, Yummy Yorkshire makes the most delicious artisan ice cream using fresh milk from its own Holstein herd combined with ingredients sourced as close to their Yorkshire farm as possible. The innovative ice cream producer has achieved great things since it first opened its doors in 2007. Yummy Yorkshire is the proud owner of 18 Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste Awards. The farms rustic ice cream parlour has recently been extended to create a stunning new 80 seater restaurant 'The Hide & Hoof' which is stylishly decorated in keeping with the farms history with milking cluster lights and tractor seat bar stools. The ice cream parlour, 'The Parlour' has also been given an uber cool overhaul and the Hayloft seating area has been created with views across West & South Yorkshire. The restaurant and parlour are open every day from 9am until 6pm and late in the restaurant on a Saturday from 7pm with an a la carte menu.

Well what more can I say! Yummy ice creams, great service despite them being extremely busy and the pup enjoyed meeting the calves in the barn. We'll be back!

I visit frequently and always mean to go to the coffee shop and have proper food and one of the delicious looking cakes.
The trouble is once I see all the amazing flavours and succumb to a chocolate waffle cone stuffed to the brim with delicious creamy fabulousness I never have room for anything else!!
I have tried the following ice-creams - Yorkshire Trifle, Banoffee pie, Strawberry and finally a Lemon, Ginger and Mascapone one. They are all good!!!

Just been here for ice creams, it's lovely and very clean, very friendly staff and the tractor play area is fab for the little ones, we really enjoyed it and will go again.

we love Yummy Yorkshire, although their ice cream is available in many top restaurants, Delph House Farm at High Flatts is where it is made.
They offer wonderful, seasonal flavours all year round, as well as bank holiday BBQ's and entertainment throughout summer.
We have never been less than delighted with the goodies served here, the staff are warm, friendly and attentive, very down to earth, but efficient and cheerful.
They source local products and suppliers and keep things real here, try there home made cakes and scones (I just wish they offered gluten free cakes, as there ice cream is clearly labelled for allergy advice),
Great for children, the grandparents and anyone who enjoys scrumptious ice cream in a country setting.
Try their strawberry or chocolate chip, and for the more adventurous, in autumn they do gravy and Yorkshire pudding kind of thing, all bizarre and weird yet wonderful! Xmas pudding is lovely and Yorkshire Parkin, I love the liquorice, but can't have it any more because it contains gluten as all liquorice does, boohoo.
Enjoy an hour or two here, lots of parking, bouncy castles and play areas for children, you won't be disappointed.
