Good choice on the menu and excellent service. Pleasant enviroment and fair prices for the quality of food on offer.
I had the duck to start, followed by the steak pie and finished off with a custard slice...all excellent.

We went to the three acres for my birthday celebration meal after a previous visit a year or so earlier. It was really really lovely, the food was fantastic as usual and the staff are all very pleasant! Great restaurant would definitely recomend to anyone.

I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Excellent food (we both had the fish - delicious), lovely ambience and impeccable service.
We have been before but it was years ago.
We will not leave it so long before we visit again.
Treat yourself - visit soon.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the 3 acres on Sat 25th Aug 2012. What a wonderful experience! Mike the events coordinator was fantastic, ensuring the smooth running of every detail throughout the day, before handing over to the 'evening' team for our party (equipped with juke box) who were equally as fabulous. We could not have wished for anything more from the staff the quality of service was excellent.
The three course meal served during the day was top class, as only the 3 acres would provide, and why we chose the 3 acres as our venue. The guests could choose from the menu provided making it even more special. Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding day.

This is the fourth time we've been the t' three acres. It's a great please with real atmosphere. We loved it again.
Be careful what you order, the servings are huge. My wife was fine with two starters and I think we could have easily made do with a starter and main to share.

If its your first time go for the fish and chips, you're in for a treat. Or maybe the rib eye?

Having dined here many times over the past 30 years, this is consistently our "one to beat", and it's rare that we find even a comparable dining experience, all things considered (value, choice, service, quality, ambience), and even rarer that anywhere beats it. The ambience of the place is very unique, and the quality of food is exceptional, with something for everyone. This is a very special place, and I don't know why it doesn't have its first Michelin star yet! It's upmarket without being pretentious, and as soon as you step through the door you start to relax, and know you're somewhere special.

Certainly one of the best dining experiences - for us - in Yorkshire (at a minimum), and always held in high regard by anyone we take there (and there have been a lot over the years!). Keep up the good work!
