We booked as hotel had recommended as we did not know the area. It statred well the shish kebab and poppadums were good, nice selection of chutneys. Then the main course arrived I ordered a prawn karai, I was a little anxious when the waited asked if I wanted a Madras or Jalfrezi strengh, as they are not the same dish. When our meal arrived the prawns were over cooked and all it tasted of was curry powder, my rice in particular was so over done it had gone into clumps, my husband's meal was not mych better. When I complained they did quickly replace my meal and gave me a complimentary glass of wine. But in all honesty the replacement chicken meal was not much of an improvement and the rice was dreadful, Amemeber of staff did enquire what was the matter and apologised which was good, but I certainly would not return there, as it has received good reviews perhaps we were just unlucky.
