With Not many places open on a Monday, it was good to retry canton chef having not been for many years.
The decor has changed a lot since i was last in, with more of a contemporary feel, white linen table cloths & napkins & not surrounded by red and gold as per many other Chinese restaurants!
There were 3 other tables of people dining, Staff were very attentive. Two of us had the set meal for two which was very tasty, as my mum is on a diet, she asked for the steamed whole seabass with steamed mixed veg & rice which they duly brought to the table & proceeded to de-bone for her! There was so much in our set meal that she had a taste of our roast duck & pancakes.
All washed down with a good bottle of Chilean Sauvignon.
Would definitely return here!
